Déjà vu and the Love Bracelet – a Guidepost to My Life’s Purpose

We have all had some form of déjà vu in our lives. Déjà vu is that strangely eerie feeling that what you are doing has already happened. It is that oddly familiar feeling that you really have done this (whatever it is) already.Love Bracelet

The other day my daughter and I were in New York City. We took a day to walk around and enjoy whatever we came upon. We walked down one street and I noticed there was a small shop with the name in French which drew me in right away. (I wish I could remember the name of the store. Yes, I tried to Google it.) I had to go, since if you know me, I LOVE all thing French. It was a cute store with jewelry from all over including France.

There, I found a bracelet that was embroidered with the word ‘Love’. It was perfect for me. I felt that it would be a nice reminder that we are loved. I walked out of that store and felt like I had done this already many, many times. The simple thing of just looking at it, adjusting it, tying it, the feel of it… all of which I felt like I had done before. For the rest of the day, I could not shake the feeling. That feeling is still with me nearly a week later.Love Bracelet with 4 leaf clover

I am sure I never saw this bracelet before nor have I ever had one like it before.

That déjà vu feeling was really strong the first few days.

I am afraid to take it off though. It is like I am wearing it for an important reason.

I LOVE that it says “love” on it… and that to me, it is a reminder that we are loved so much by our angels and spirit guides – so much more than we know. Their love for us in indescribable.

But, then I started to think about it. Maybe, just maybe I saw this bracelet while I was watching the preview to this lifetime. Remembering your preview of this lifetime is one reason for déjà vu. We all see a preview of the life we are living right now. We are shown the preview of our life along with a few others that would work towards the lessons we also chose to learn. I know I picked this life with all its trials and tribulations. (Yes, that means you picked your life too.)Love bracelet as a daily reminder we are LOVED

I am learning in this class that we call Earth. Absolutely.

Maybe I hit a point in my life that is a reminder that I am on the right path. This bracelet. So simple, it almost seems silly. Truly, though, if the path we chose to learn the most was shown to us in Heaven as we pick this lifetime, then this bracelet is symbolic of that. I have been talking about love a lot. That we are loved more than we know. That we can emit love to others. That we should think loving thoughts (as opposed to fear-based thoughts). The angels pour love onto us. Love is a beautiful energy wavelength. I could go on and on.

What symbol or sign is this bracelet to me? I have yet to find out. I know it is important somehow, so that makes it exciting. I love bracelets so I will keep it on until I find out. I will definitely let you know.

Love to you,

Xoxo

How to Meditate – Start with Just ONE Minute

How do you meditate?

There are thousands of ways.

The important thing is to not try. Trying stops the process of relaxing. Allow instead.

For me, meditating took a looooong time of:

The Keeper of the Threshold by Elihu Vedder 1897

trying …

reading about it …

trying …

giving up for a while …

reading some more …

trying walking meditation … (Felt silly to me-how can you meditate when you have to watch where you are going?)

giving up for a very long while again …

learning about guided meditation and self-hypnosis …

tried it nearly every day for a month …

and then one day, I got it.

I learned to really relax. To allow. To be okay when your mind starts to chatter (it could be messages that your guides are trying to get to you).

Then I remembered a past life where I taught a completely different kind of meditation. That day, I really got how it meditation worked. Sigh. Finally.

The best advice I ever read was that you can meditate for one minute.

A minute is easy.

Here is how: Focus on your breath. (And since I like to give my brain something to do …) I say to myself, “Breathe in love, breathe out fear” as I inhale and exhale. Just start with one minute.

The cool part of this short meditation is that you can do it anywhere – waiting in line, waiting for the microwave to beep, etc.

Try it. Take a minute. Let me know how it goes.

(I hope your attempts at understanding meditation goes faster for you. It took me years.)

Thank you for inspiring this blog post Shree!

A Blissful Kaleidoscope of Color – Have you Seen IT?

Have you seen beautiful, morphing, blissful colors during a meditation or a regression? I have. Some of my clients have.morphing kaleidoscope of colors

What is this kaleidoscope of colors, really? I am not exactly sure.
Quite a few people have also seen these constantly moving, loving colors during a regression. While being regressed, they experience a blissful feeling and watch a variety of colors moving in and out of focus.

The most interesting part is that they each had a soft, permanent smile on their face – as if seeing a beautiful baby for the first time.

Each also wanted to stay and watch the colors. It felt like love, they said.

My last client who experienced this said he would like to stay longer and watch a bit more (this, after 60 minutes of seeing the colors morph with small glimpses of random past lives come through).

and more morphing kaleidoscope of colors

Sometimes, these colors do turn into a past life for my clients, but only after a lot of redirecting to return to another time or place.

But, again, what is it really? Where is this colorful place of peace, love and bliss? Is it the plane in which we can truly see the energy around us? Is it another dimension? Is it Heaven? Is it a level of consciousness available to us all?

It actually reminds me of a SpongeBob episode on time travel. The animated friends float in total consciousness when they venture into the future.

Maybe it is the future.

I asked a few psychic friends their opinion. One said, he thought it was spirit guides coming through to my clients – in a way they are comfortable. Another said they might be receiving a healing from an angel or spirit guide.

Both answers sounded loving to me.

and even more morphing kaleidoscope of colors

I have read many, many books on hypnosis and past life regression. I have taken training courses. I have never come across this in anything I have read or heard.

So, I open it up to you, my faithful readers …

Have you seen morphing colors in a meditative state?

Have you experienced it too?

What do you think it is?

Do You Have a Favorite Past Life?

I was asked this question recently by a new blogger friend… Thank you DreamBlogger for asking.

I have remembered nearly 50 of my past lives, some in more detail than others.Walking the path to learning

To pick a favorite…. hmm.

I have healed more with some, so they have a special place in my heart.

I have really enjoyed remembering others.

They all have their good and harsh (usually the death) moments.

My favorite ones have been as women. Maybe it is because I can relate as a woman or simply coincidence.

Here are a few basics of my favorites:

I was Helen in New York City having the best day ever dancing at a speakeasy club in 1927. That was a lot of fun to remember. I felt like I was dancing.

I was also Annabelle in France living a very upscale life while enjoying listening to a harpsichord in 1795. The beautiful music brought tears to my eyes.

But, my absolute favorite was as Aleena. She was a metaphysical teacher … her whole life revolved around love. (Plus, I had a very hot boyfriend. lol.)

My absolute favorite part of all of my past life regressions was the opportunity to see the light, to walk into Heaven to visit my spirit guides and angels. There are no words to describe the love you feel at that moment.

I have more on each of lifetimes and how they helped heal my life now in my book, Life Is Just Another Class — One Soul’s Journey Through Past Life Regression. I am currently making some final touches to the manuscript. I offer a Free Chapter to read before it is published.

How Can You Tell if a Past Life Memory is Real or Imagination?

a regression can be a litle fuzzyBottom line, it is the emotions that you feel … that will be your answer.

Notice the emotions you feel – if they are strong (sometimes very strong if it is a death scene or another emotional scene) you have definitely gotten to a past life memory.

Brian Weiss says that even if you feel that it is made-up or it feels like imagination, it all comes from you and can be beneficial and healing to you. Healing is the point of a past life regression, so if you think it is imagination and you healed from the experience, then what does it matter. Some people, who do not believe in past lives, do regressions under the belief that it is all imagination, yet can still reap the cathartic benefits.

It may sometimes feel as though it is imagination, but often this is often your ego butting in or your rational mind trying to stop the memory.

I have personally had a few experiences that seemed a little like imagination at first. (For a past life regression to go really well for you, you must be open to it and to TRUST whatever information comes to you.) But, as the regression progressed, it was definitely not imagination.

Also, if you do regressions more than once, then the next time (or times afterwards) you remember this same lifetime, the story does not change, but more details from that life are remembered. This is also another way to know it is not your imagination.

For me, I get tears in my eyes when something tragic is starting to be remembered and often cry (sometimes a lot) when a memory like that is coming through. It can be that emotional. It can be tears of joy as well, like when recognizing someone from this life in one of your past lives or for me, hearing music I loved.

Remembering a Past Life Is Like Looking at an Old Photo

What does it feel like to remember a past life?

For me, it is similar to looking at an old photo, let’s say … of a party. Once you see the picture, you remember the people featured and what the party celebrated. Then, upon thinking more about that party, you can remember more and more details.

Enlightened daisy

You may remember:

  • Who came that is not shown in the photo
  • What you wore
  • A song that played
  • What time of year it was
  • The emotions of that day
  • And maybe a little back story on a close friend or relative that attended

If you think really hard about it, you may remember days before that party and all the preparations made for the party. You may remember what happened after all the guests left and the clean-up afterwards. Then, there may be a memory or two of weeks or months later when you reminisced with a friend about the party.

Yah, it is kind of like that. Remembering a past life is like remembering a party from a long time ago. It is just another memory from all your days gone by. They are just memories with a twist; they are of a past life. Just like a party, some of the memories are pleasant some are not.

There are a few differences though (beyond the obvious fact that we are comparing a current life to past lives).

The two main differences are strong emotions and healing. Remembering a past life is emotional. Crying is usually involved. Sometimes they are tears of joy. Sometimes they are tears that could never be shed before.

I have regressed those who say they rarely, if ever, cry. I always have tissues ready anyway. They often cry the hardest … there are so many pent up emotions, especially by those who do not usually cry.

Even the men cry.

Remembering a past life is healing in and of itself. Just remembering a snippet of a past life can be healing. Writing my book about my past lives has been healing. Every time I work with my past lives (via meditation or a regression) I recognize some relevant connection in my current life. It has explained relationships, likes, fears and more.

Can you remember your 10th birthday party? Who was there? What kind of cake did you have?

You can remember anything you want.

Hypnosis Is a Natural State of Mind

Hypnosis is just focused concentration. You do it every day.

Have you ever driven your car and ended up at home, not remembering the journey?

Have you ever been writing your blog and someone walks up behind you, causing you to jump out of your chair?

Have you ever been in the middle of reading that next great book and a loud noise causes you to let out a scream?

A state of peace.

If you have experienced any of the above, you have been in a hypnotic state. Hypnosis is a natural state of mind. Depending upon how focused you were doing any of the above, you could have been in a very light to a much deeper hypnotic state.

There are scientific words to describe the four brainwave frequency levels that a person can go through or enter while being hypnotically regressed: Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta. An electroencephalogram (EEG) can measure these levels. Beta is when we are awake, alert and fully aware of our surroundings. Alpha is when we are relaxed, maybe daydreaming or even in a light hypnotic state. Theta is a meditative, drowsy or deep hypnotic state. Finally, there is Delta—the state we are in during a deep sleep.

For past life regression via hypnosis one can go through all the stages, but mostly the brain stays in a Theta state.

What state are you in?

Miracles Happen: A Free Live Online Event with Brian Weiss, MD

Would you like to re-experience a past life?

Do you have about 30 minutes? You can do it right now.

Work with the best in the field … Dr. Brian Weiss. He recently hosted a free online event that included an experiential past life regression that you can listen to in the comfort of your own home. This event was recorded at Omega (a fabulous holistically-minded teaching facility in Rhinebeck, NY) on October 10, 2012.

At about 33 minutes into this 90-minute event, Dr. Brian Weiss leads us through a regression. (It is very similar to the script he uses in his “Regression through the Mirrors of Time” self-hypnosis CD.) His voice is so lulling, making it easy to relax. The music he plays in the background is by Steven Halpern.

The spirit spreading from within ... photo from Maui

Here is a quote from his recording. I love it. It sums up everything I am trying to convey in my personal past life experience book.

Dr. Brian Weiss: “You can experience all levels of your beautiful multi-dimensional self, because you are far, far greater than you body or your brain. You are a beautiful and immortal spiritual being. You are always loved. You are never alone.”

I am including the link to Omega’s website for the video. They are currently working on some sound issues for it. Once they are resolved, I will try to embed the video here.

Relax and enjoy!

Learn About and Experience a Past Life

Have you ever wondered…

Can you really heal from remembering  a past life? Can you have the near death experience without really dying? Do  you watch over your loved ones after death? The answer is yes to all these  questions. How do I know? I have experienced it over and over through past life  regression. And that is just the tip of the iceberg.

If you have any questions on how past life regression works, etc. please post them in the comment section here and I will try my best to answer them in a future blog post.

From time to time, I offer classes locally. Link to my website for more information.

Let me help you feel comfortable experiencing your own past lives.

A beautiful faint double rainbow, right in my backyard.

Angels are Beings of Light that Shine Unconditional Love on Us.

Yesterday while working on my book, I received a very clear message from my angels that they are around me. How do I know, you ask? Let me tell you …

I am writing a book about sixteen of my past lives. In the past few weeks, I have rearranged chapters and added new chapters to better relay what I experienced without interrupting the retelling of each past life. Yesterday, I was working on a chapter called “From the Other Side.” In it, I talk about all the times that I have seen how loved ones are there, helping us from the other side (or the spirit side of life). Then I worked on a section of text where I am describing seeing angels all around us in one of my past life chapters.

Just as I finished typing these sentences referring to angels: “These sacred beings poured their love over us, all the while helping us in our task. We are so blessed.”

My laptop froze.

My laptop has done this before, but only when I had the internet open checking email (it has something to do with the ads changing on my email) – and even then it was rare. It has only frozen when Internet Explorer was running. At this moment, though, I didn’t even have the internet open!

Here’s the cool part. I looked at the time on the screen. My laptop was frozen at 4:44 p.m. Not a big deal, except that I have been seeing that number A LOT lately and just spoke to someone about it last week. They said that seeing 444 means that angels are around you.

So, I looked up the definition of 444 in the book Angel Numbers 101: The Meaning of 111, 123, 444, and Other Number Sequences by Doreen Virtue & Lynnette Brown (Hay House 2005). It says:

“444 — Thousands of angels surround you at this moment, loving and supporting you. You have a very strong and clear connection with the angelic realm, and are an Earth angel yourself. You have nothing to fear—all is well.”

I started to tear up.

I have to say that this was an extremely clear message from my angels saying to me that we are always surrounded by our angels and spirit guides. In four of my past lives I got the awesome opportunity to see my spirit guides. In two of my past lives I had the rare opportunity to see angels. There are no words for the awe you have when you see an angel. Love emanates all around them. Angels are beings of light that shine unconditional love on us.

I was raised Catholic. They teach you to believe that our spirit guides (same as guardian angels) and angels are around us all the time. Before working on this book, I had the belief that angels were way too busy with other Heavenly stuff to actually be with us every day, all day. This experience is another confirmation that I was wrong.

Angels are with us every day, all day. Always … any time.

Travel back in Time (through self-hypnosis) with Christopher Reeve

Do you have a movie, that if you are really feeling like taking a break from life, you watch? I do. My all time favorite movie is Somewhere in Time. I have watched this movie over a hundred times in the last 30 (wow, it has been that long) years. I actually own the VHS version. (I know, right, I need to get the blu-ray.)

I was fascinated with this movie since it first came out in 1980. The main actors are Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. Superman was very big back then, so it was fun to see Christopher Reeve in a different movie setting.

In case you are not familiar with the movie, Christopher Reeve is a playwright who is so smitten with a photograph of an actress that he travels back to the year 1912 using self-hypnosis.

It is a love story based on the 1975 novel Bid Time Return by Richard Matheson. (Which, by the way, now that I know that – thank you Wikipedia- I will have to find the book.) Ever since I first started watching this movie, I would always think, “I wonder, would self-hypnosis really take a person back in time?”
