How Children Can Inspire Us to Learn Metaphysics

In the past life classes I teach and in the radio interviews I have done, I always talk about my daughter. She is the one who inspired me to learn about metaphysics in the first place. (Thank you, sweetheart.) While she was the one who instigated this learning and healing that I have gone through since starting to learn and heal from past life regression, she also has healed through remembering a past life too.

Here is the story of how it began for me…

After nursing my daughter and laying her in bed late one night, I awoke to see her being held by a man dressed in robes while holding her sweetly. He was swaying softly and looking down at her lovingly. I looked away and back and then he was gone. (For more on this story, here is the link.) I immediately checked on my daughter, who was sleeping just as I had left her. I thought it was very cool and I was actually excited about having seen a ghost, but a little freaked out that they were holding my baby.

The next morning, I called the local psychic that often spoke on our local radio station’s morning show.

A few weeks later, my sister and I went to see Mr. Charles, the local psychic. Of course, I brought my daughter since I was nursing her… she went everywhere with me. My sister watched her in his waiting room while I talked to the psychic.

I nervously walked in to see him. Mr. Charles said that my daughter has a very strong third eye and that I needed to learn about these things to help her in life. The alternative would not be good he said, shaking his head. In my mind, I am fretting and thinking, “What the @#$ is a third eye?” while he talks on about the possibilities of who may have been holding her, most likely her spirit guide.

As he talked, Mr. Charles looked to his left and then to his right thanking spirits for giving him the information. I see nothing standing there. I have to be honest, I was definitely a little skeptical at this point in my life. I am sure he could tell I felt this way. I listen to all he says anyway, trying to understand and be open-minded.

Once home, the first thing I do is to look up the meaning of the third eye and still do not understand. I find some books on being psychic and get a little scared at what I read. It was all too much for me at the time.

Over the next few years, I looked at a book here or there to try again. Nothing seemed to resonate. A few years later, I found a book called Children’s Past Lives by Carol Bowman in a metaphysical bookstore. As soon as I saw this book, I thought, “Oh, it is about children… I need to learn for my daughter…maybe this will help me understand something more on metaphysics.” I had no idea that this book would inspire me to learn more and more and then more.
