Do Birthmarks Disappear When a Past Life is Remembered?

I have a peculiar birthmark shaped like a bullet hole right on the front of my neck. It was a prominent brown spot as a teenager. Finally, on February 21, 2011, I remembered the lifetime that explains this birthmark. (I have always wondered what unresolved lifetime it marked.)

I am working hard to remove passive tense verbs from Chapter 14 “Helen Carter Merkowitz” for my book Life is Just another Class – One Soul’s Journey through Past Life Regression. BE THE FIRST TO READ CHAPTER 9 – the story of my lifetime as Howard Duish from the 1600’s. BONUS! I include excerpts from seven additional chapters so you can learn how Howard made an impact in my current lifetime. Register today to receive your chapter and be the FIRST TO KNOW the release date for my book: Life is Just another Class – One Soul’s Journey through Past Life Regression. A stray bullet shot Helen in the front of the neck causing her traumatic death in 1927 and leaving me with a birthmark. Helen was not ready to die; she was having way too much fun. A birthmark is leftover energetic remnants from a past life trauma. Usually it marks the way you die in a past life. Ian Stevenson spent several years painstakingly documenting birthmarks. His work scientifically shows that birthmarks are directly related to a subject’s death in a past life.

Interestingly, since I have remembered this lifetime and experienced catharsis, my birthmark has noticeably faded. Has it faded since I released this past trauma? Quite probably. Healing came from re-experiencing the shooting, offering forgiveness and coming to terms with the ordeal.

If you think about it, everything is made up of atoms. Each atom is (in simple terms) a vibration of energy. Everything around us, including you is a vibration. But, we are vibrating so fast, we appear solid. Everyone has heard of auras. (Sometimes, I get lucky and can see someone’s aura.) Again, it is the energy part of you that can be seen. We are all, essentially, made up of energy. Therefore, if you die traumatically and you were not able to come to terms with that death, a “spot” is left on your energy. It can become a birthmark. I healed that “spot” so now it is going away.

Above are a few photos of me. These two are from high school – over 20 years ago. (I know… I am giving away my age. I loved that Princess Diana haircut… then.) You can clearly see the birthmark is dark brown. The other was taken a year or so after I remembered Helen’s lifetime. The July 2012 photo, below, was also taken after being at the beach for nearly a week (I thought the sun would make it darker). If you look hard at my recent photo, you can see a faded brown spot. (Also, the photo of me on my “About Karen Kubicko” page was taken about nine months after the regression.)

Compare these photos. Can you see a difference in the color of my birthmark?

I have another question. Since I have healed this past life trauma, will my birthmark completely disappear? I will let you know.

Do you have any birthmarks? Are you curious too?

About Karen Kubicko

www.KarenKubicko.com I found my joy in studying and participating in past life regressions. Ask me any question on past life regression and I will blog the answer. By re-experiencing my own personal past lives, I’ve learned a great deal about myself on multiple levels. I have remembered nearly forty past lives. Through total immersion into each memory, I have released a variety of unfounded fears, explained relationships, alleviated health issues, reawakened psychic talents and explained my fondness of certain time periods and geographic locations. When you personally remember a past life, you can heal yourself of health issues and phobias. Do you have any unfounded fears or phobias in your life? Do you have a nagging health issue? Are these issues unfounded in your current lifetime? Think about it. In my book, Life Is Just Another Class – One Soul’s Journey Through Past Life Regression, I share some of these lifetimes with you, in hopes that I will inspire and excite you to take your own spiritual journey. It is available on Amazon and at Barnes & Noble. We experience several lives here on Earth to learn and to grow. I invite you to embrace this classroom we call Earth and get to know why you are truly here in this lifetime. xoxox Karen

  1. kaluise says:

I had a brown, birthmark on the back of my leg, slightly above the knee area. It was there for as long as I can remember. I never gave much thought to it as it was not something I looked at, without twisting my leg to see it. About 10-13 years ago, I remembered a past life, where I got bit by a snake, while I was kneeling down, it bit me from behind on the back of my leg, same spot as birthmark. I did not put the connection together, until a few years later, when I went to show my daughter the birthmark, it had all but faded away. That is when the connection hit me. I don’t go in the sun, and I don’t often wear shorts that expose that area, so it is not like it could of faded from light exposure. 🙂 You cannot even see it now, but it has always been there. I find it all so interesting.

  2. kaluise ~ fascinating! Thank you for sharing your story. That is awesome you were able to remember a past life so young and to actually realize it was a previous lifetime. Healing occurred and you did not even know. If everyone trusted the information that came to them (through any of the claires: clairvoyance, clairsentience, clairaudience, etc.) like you do, what a different world it would be. Thank you for being a part of mine!

  3. Karen you should use that recent photo of you at the beach. 🙂

  4. Thanks Sindy! It is a more recent photo… hmmm.

  5. Liz says:

Hey! I’ve been checking in on your blog here and there. This is really fascinating stuff!

I have 2 marks, each one matching each of my parents. I’ve always thought it was pretty neat that I have a mark that matches my mom, and a mark that matches my dad. I’ve always said it’s because I’m a perfect blend of the two of them.

  6. creditaction says:

These are fascinating insights to your worldview, thank you.

  7. This is really interesting – I hadn’t heard of scars fading from past life exploration, but it does make sense and perhaps indicates that you are closing up past karma and finding inner healing as well as outer.

I visited a past life regression therapist a year or so ago and remembered being tortured to death on a rack and another life where I was kicked to death. I’m plagued in this life with persistent back problems. Unfortunately, they haven’t gone away as a result of exploring these memories, but I do feel like they have been put in context. I’m an astrologer, so I’m particularly interested in the link between Chiron and past life wounds. I’ve still got heavy Chiron transits happening at the moment that seem to coincide with times when my back bothers me most. Perhaps when the transits pass, so will the pain. However, I think some karmic wounds are maybe not meant to heal so much as to remind you of still unresolved karmic problems or issues.

Thanks for leading me to your blog. Very interesting stuff.

    • Thank you for sharing Valerie.
I am interested, during your regression were you able to release the pain and offer forgiveness to all involved? That is a very important part of the process. If you have not, you can do it now. I have my clients visualize the pain leaving them in a stream, then filling the area with unconditional healing love and sealing it in.

      • Hi Karen, Thanks for asking 🙂 It’s a bit complicated…. I did offer forgiveness and released the energy, etc. I was working with a brilliant therapist (Patricia Walsh). I plan to post on my blog my full regression story of the 6 lives I remember. Maybe I’ll do that today…. it’s rather traumatizing. With all the very karmic astrological transits I’ve had since 2009, and upon moving back to my home town, I really believe that I’ve met many of my ‘soul mates’ or past karmic connections recently (I have a theory about ‘soul groups’ that perhaps you’ve looked into as well… some people talk about this – that we reincarnate in groups and so you’ll find many soul connections in one town/part of the world.) It’s a long and difficult story to relate, but moving to my home town has involved me being a target of bullying and ostracization and I’ve had a few friendships that ended really badly where they won’t speak to me anymore. I honestly believe that this is all karmic – my regression sessions seemed to identify many of these people as being souls from these past lives. So this is the very painful thing: you can offer forgiveness, plead for it, do everything you can to prove that you are a good person with good intentions, but if they don’t accept it or offer forgiveness in return and just want to continue the fight, what can you do? I’ve come to decide that perhaps my karmic lesson in this life is to leave those souls (and the soul group) and to move on without their forgiveness. But that does create some problems in my attempts to release myself from the energy (though perhaps it will come with time). My past lives seem to revolve around repeated themes of seeking that forgiveness and not getting it. None of this helps my back though which flares up badly around these incidents. Interestingly, I get the feeling that the torture and kicking memories surround the two past friends who cause me the most grief in my current situation.

    • Valerie. I hear your pain. I adapted a point-of-view a long time ago. If a relationship makes you feel bad (some can literally make you sick), there is no reason to continue the relationship, however hard that may be. There are millions of other people out there in the world who will accept and love you for who you are.
(Or: if they don’t like you, @#$% them.)
There is never a need to plead for someone’s forgiveness. Forgive them, release that harsh energy and move on. Cut the ties to them, otherwise they will suck the energy out of you. (This could be a life lesson you are learning now.)
See my blog on one way to release- https://karenkubicko.wordpress.com/2012/09/28/set-yourself-free-of-past-life-vows-or-contracts/
I completely agree with the soul group explanation. Some cities I cannot wait to visit, some cities I have no desire to see.

  8. Very interesting blog, Karen. Many of your subjects are dear to my heart. Good luck with your book project – I hope you find a publisher!

    • Thank you Bev! You will enjoy this… at the end of one of my past lives, I became aware that I stayed by my body for a few weeks before I transitioned to Heaven. I was a ghost “haunting” the area. I will look for your books!

  9. Karen, I had past life regression when I lived in Miami. I found myself a scared nobleman just following the English Civil War. I’d like to do it again and see if I get the same vision. I met Brian Weiss at a conference. Enjoyed your post.

  10. Interesting post! I have a pretty big birthmark on my stomach. It’s pink, not brown. I wonder if color means anything? My mom said it was put there because she went through a trauma while carrying me. I have never heard that birthmarks could be a result of a past life event! How interesting. I’ll have to keep that in mind when writing a future story! (smile) I would very much love to undergo a past life regression. Some day I might get lucky enough. Maybe I’ll find out what that birthmark is all about. Must have been bad, whatever it was. I do know that I can’t stand to see movies where anything happens to the stomach so maybe I was gored to death. Who knows? Glad you visited my blog and I followed your link to this post! Blessings!

  11. Hello Deborah! Thank you for visiting my blog. Interesting observations about your stomach. I bet there is a coincidence. If you have time, listen to Brian Weiss’ talk in my post, Miracles Happen. I listened to it and remembered more from a past life.

I completely understand where you are coming from with the avoidance of things. I cannot touch a gun without feeling death. I really do not like watching shows or movies with gun violence. This fear stemmed from a gun causing my death in a past life. Then, I remembered Helen and I understood. (I still don’t like guns.)

Thank you for liking my blog. I find your blog very interesting with lots of food for thought 🙂 Really love this area of exploration as my focus is about revealing our sacred geometry patterns and completing past cycles. My recent discovery – our north node in our natal chart reveals this life and our south node therefore our most recent past life. The Mayan sign also reveals what place on a cycle we came in on which can give lots info. If you would like to share info please email me and we could arrange a skype chat. Love Jo x

  13. ireadcards says:

This never would have occurred to me, but I think it’s fascinating, and frankly, absolutely possible! Congrats on getting that life figured out, and for healing.

    • Thank you Ireadcards, it is fascinating and for me, totally unexpected. If you understand that we are made of energy, then when you heal a “dark spot” and remove it, replacing it with unconditional love, then the area fades away. So, if your body manifests the dark spot as a birthmark, then it is healed, I surmise that it make sense for it to fade away. Your card reading site is very interesting! I enjoy all of Doreen Virtues’ cards. Have a fabulous day!

      • ireadcards says:

That makes perfect sense to me. Thanks for your kind words. I’m looking forward to getting going with some readings!

  14. This is extraordinary. I haven’t got a birthmark myself but I am fascinated with what you write about. I’ve been having strong intuitions about my possible past lives. My fascination is karmic astrology, I have been trying to look at birth charts from a karmic perspective and it has been very illuminating.
On the subject of birthmarks, have you seen the movie Cloud Atlas or read the book? In the book especially it is strongly suggested birthmarks are carried from across incarnation. I found this symbology very curious. Thank you for sharing your story.
    Blessings,
    Monika

    • Thank you for stopping by Monika! If you look at my about me page, that photo was taken last fall, and my birthmark is barely there. I should take another photo, since it is very hard to find now.
Good luck with finding more out about your own past lives. It is quite an adventure. If you have any questions, let me know.
I smiled when you said, have I seen Cloud Atlas. I LOVED that movie and could not wait for it to be released. I thought it was odd that the birthmark moved around though. The birthmark that was on my neck was in the exact spot I was shot in a past life. Cloud Atlas did not say how/when the birthmark originated.
      Loved your blog!!
      Namaste! Karen

      • Thank you for your answer. I am glad I have found your blog.
I think that in Cloud Atlas the birthmark (a comet) may symbolize higher consciousness and may not be connected with any past-life trauma. Anyway, that does not matter because the movie is really breathtaking.
        Best,
        Monika

      • Monika ~ good call on the symbolism for the birthmark in the movie. You are most likely right on that. I want to read the book it is based upon. I cannot wait for it to come out on dvd so I can watch it again and again. I loved that movie. The trailer was really something and I could not wait for the movie.
        Have a fabulous day!

I have a very dark brown birthmark right in the middle of my stomach and I’ve just found this theory that birthmarks may be the trauma marks of a past life and I am THOROUGHLY INTRIGUED! I would love to do a past life regression but I fear that I won’t be able to find someone worth their mettle up here in Maine. What should I be looking for?

    • Hello Allison! I you go to my tab at the top of my page, Remember a Past Life Right Now, you can listen to a meditation that can help you remember a past life. It may take more than one listen. It took me nearly a month of trying before my first memory. If you are looking for someone to help you one on one…. you can sometimes find referrals in your area through iarrt.org. Or online locally. I found one via a referral from a local metaphysical book store. Look for training, sometimes there are certificates as well.
Let your intuition guide you when you find one.

Hi Karen, thanks for dropping by and liking the Twin Flame Maitreya article on my blog. Connecting in the present timeline to a past/simultaneous timeline where the birthmark was created evokes the quantum presence, without time or space, resolving past traumas and merging the lifetimes into One. A continuous and necessary process for full Awakening and the inculcation of Presence. Love your work, am happy to now be following you. All blessings to you and yours.

    • Hello Rahkyt! Thanks for visiting and following my blog. You make an interesting point combining Quantum presence, resolving traumas (a release) and the merging of them into one. “We are one” is a common message that I hear… makes complete sense that this is part of being awakened. Thank you for your kind words.

When I was about 8 years old I had a dream about how I had gotten shot in the knee. I have 5 birthmarks and that is the only one I have had a dream about. My sister has the same birthmark on the same knee just on the other side. My friend had told me that birthmarks where a scar from your past life, I looked it up, and found more research about it. I am still looking for more research to understand birthmarks a little more.

    • Bella says:

I haves birthmark shaped in like a bullet hole in my right upper arm. How could I die from that?

    • Hello Hunter,
I have remembered several of my past lives. I have four birthmarks, but have only had one past life directly relate to one of my birthmarks (neck).
I am sure there are many ways we acquire a birthmark, but I know this particular past life where I was shot in the neck was without a question related.
Good luck on your research into birthmarks. Look up Ian Stevenson too.
      Namaste!

    Karen,
I’m only 13 and have the gift of clairvoyance I see my future in my dreams about 4 times a month. I don’t really understand it, it confuses me to a high level but I wondered if you had any advice? It eventually happens, but it could be hours, days, weeks, months, or even years and I just don’t understand it. Any advice? Or any explanations you could give me?

    • Hello Missimae,
Congratulations in taking the first step by embracing your talent in clairvoyance and calling it a gift. Seeing your future is a nice gift to have. I am sure it would be confusing to see something that has not occurred.
One of my good psychic friends told me that as a psychic she can tell you what she sees in the future at that moment – for where you are in your life as of that moment. You have the free will to change the outcome of a future event. So, even if a psychic tells you of a future event, you still have the free will to make a decision to do something else… to take a different path.
Also, from talking with psychics, since time is relative … time is also something that is hard to pin point when seeing the future. It could be at any time in the future.
Ask your angels and spirit guides to help you understand your talent more. You will start to notice information and answers coming to you via many avenues.
      Namaste,
      Karen

    • Anne says:

Many of my family members have experienced the same thing throughout their lives. From what weve pieced together it works like this. What you see is just the most likely course of energy flow. Its kinda like signing up for school, and doing two years of science classes. At that point the most likely thing that will happen is that you will graduate with some sort of science degree. However, anything and all things can change. Energy effects the future, what we and others around us create will also be creating and moving forward tomorrow. Your dreams are you tapping into the energy flow…and the most likely outcome. Some are probably also warnings, or insights from spirit guides. Even though most of your dreams come true, remember that NOTHING is set in stone. For example if you see something bad happening to someone else, then that can be averted. Remember that each soul chooses their own destiny, and warning someone of an impending death does not mean that they will choose on a spiritual level to not cross over. However, once again, what your dreaming about is NOT what has to happen. As you get older you will learn to understand and see your own dreams better. Your actually probably having 3 or 4 different types of dreams. Some are just dreams, some are meant for learning, some are messages from guides, and some are you tapping into the more likely outcomes of recent energy flows ( the future). As you get older youll get very good at differentiating between dreams. In the mean time – Sweet dreams.

  24. Tabatha Martin says:

How did you remember your past life? I always get scared to try and force things like that because more comes to me then just that. I have a birth mark on my butt cheek and my son has one almost identical in his, leg. It would be interesting to know.

    • Tabatha Martin says:

I should also note that I use to more than “sense” things that just weren’t there to other people. I was highly religious and never had anyone around me to help me control the negative spirits so (on advice) I spent years asking the gift away. That’s why doing anything other than avoiding it all together gets me things I don’t want to deal with. I don’t know if you believe spirits can manifest enough to do actual harm but I do. I’ve seen things most people don’t believe. Including the most scary of all the things in my life, my three year old 40+ lb son being used as a toy being bounced between the wall and the door a couple times. So needles to say anything I do I have to be extremely careful in how I do it. Any advice?

      • Hello Tabatha,
I am not an expert on negative spirits, but shielding yourself during any metaphysical work is highly recommended. I ask for my spirit guides and angels to guide and protect me each time. Also, during a regression I have a loving light surround and protect me so no harm can come through, only goodness.
You can also do several additional things during your every day life:
-Ask for Archangel Michael to help you.
-Do not hesitate to ask for help from any angel or spirit guide. They like to be asked since they cannot interfere with free will. Ask anytime, anything.
-Surround yourself (and your son, etc.) and your home with the golden light (Some use a white light. Use the color that resonates with you.) anytime you feel the need.
-Some psychics shield themselves with light each day. There are lots of techniques for shielding. Find one that you like and do it each day for yourself and your son.
-Stay away from drugs and alcohol … any addictive substance should never be used before, during or after a regression or any metaphysical work.
-Listen to your intuition, if it does not feel right, don’t go there/talk to that person/etc.
        I hope this helps.
        Sending love to you,
        Karen

    • Hello Tabatha,
I have remembered past lives through self-hypnosis and with the help of a hypnotherapist. It may seem scary at first because you don’t know what to expect. I have a free past life meditation posted here on my blog in the tabs on the top called “Remember a Past Life now”. It may take several attempts. I listened to a similar cd recording every day for nearly a month before I remembered my first past life. Remembering a past life is interesting – and very healing for sure. Noticing that my birthmark started to go away was an unexpected side effect.
Good luck with your trial at it! And remember, your subconscious protects you from what you are not ready for during a regression.
      Namaste,
      Karen

  28. kay says:

From birth I had an oblong brown birth mark on my ankle. When I was bathing today I noticed that it had disappeared – it hadn’t faded but completely disappeared! ! Can you explain this to me – I am quite shocked.

    • Hello Kay,
Without having very much information to go on, I will give you a few things that may have caused it to disappear. Maybe one of these things happened in the last year?
      – did you remember a past life recently? It could be something as simple as a deja vu experience, daydream or a scene during a meditation.
      – have you had a vivid dream that seemed to involve your ankle, walking or being tied to something, like a ball and chain?
      – You may have reached a point in your life where you aged past your age in the corresponding past life (after the age the traumatic incident occurred), causing it to go away.
      – In your normal life you learned some life lesson that is related to how you died in that particular birthmark related past lifetime. It could be something that isn’t exactly obvious to the ankle.
Let me know if any of these resonate with you…
      xoxo

So, how do you remember your past lifetime? I have two birth marks, they are brown patches, one on the middle of my right arm, and on on the left side of my neck. This theory has me intrigued. I’d like to learn more.

    • Hello Shalina,
There are many ways to remember a past life. You can remember through deja vu, meditation, dreams and past life regression. I have had the most luck with past life regression. If you would like to try a regression, you can click on the tab at the top of my blog to listen to a meditation to help you remember. It is only 25 minutes long. Give it a try and see if anything comes up for you. I recommend reading Dr. Brian Weiss books as well. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

my main one is like plane fuel third degree burn marks, which is from the WWII RAF flight lieutenant life, and I want to do regression therapy to fix my issues (fears and stuff) but I really don’t want the birthmark to go away because I love it and am proud of it.. I see it as a “look at the bad stuff I went through and am tougher than” mark.. so I REALLY don’t want it to go away.. dilemma heh

    • Hello Hannah,
It sounds as though you already remembered that past life. I also did some healing work during my regression to release any negativity associated with that death from that area that I was shot. I then allowed that area to be filled with healing unconditional love. I think that this action is what caused the birthmark to fade. Please also note that if your intent is to keep the birthmark, it will probably stay. You have made your peace with it and the situation.

  34. Claudia says:

Hello! Today I just saw that my small birthmark on my pointing finger is gone, I have had it my whole life and it just disappeared recently. I do not think I died because of my finger in one of my past lives, but I feel like maybe it is because I’m past the age that I died before? My whole life has been very hard, and it’s a miracle I haven’t committed suicide before. What do you think?

    • Hello Claudia,
Sometimes there is no explanation for these things. It could be that you did die before this age in your life now. It could be that you have healed yourself from the same situation/experience/learning that you now have done in this life that was similar to how you received that birthmark… unknowingly. The energy associated with that now has dissipated and the birthmark goes away.
When you start to realize that there is not another living soul who can say they have had an easy life with no trauma or hardship, you realize that we are all just learning to get through the hard stuff of life… the lessons.
It is truly all how we deal with it.
It sounds as though you have worked through the hard stuff and that you have healed a lot in this lifetime. Kudos to you!!

      with much love,
      Karen

  36. Very interesting information, Karen. I had not even come close to putting this together but it makes some sense to me. I’m not sure if I had any birthmarks but I did have a perfect French accent when I began studying French in 8th grade. Much later I had a vivid dream in which I remembered a lifetime in France during WWII. Not quite the same thing but we do “bring stuff with us.” Many blessings to you and your blog, Alia

    • That is very cool that you were able to speak French so well and then remember your past life from that time and place. We absolutely bring many likes, dislikes, fears and more through with us into each subsequent lifetime.
Love to you and your writings,

I have a birthmark on my right leg. Its approximately 5inches long and 3 inches wide located on the inside portion of my knee. I have in the last 6 months remembered most of one of my past lives. Arsinoe IV, Cleopatra’s sister, whom she had murdered for attempting to overthrow her. I am unable to remember details but do know that the birthmark doesn’t ring with this life. Is it possible that it could be from yet another past life that I have yet to discover?

    • Hello Tich,
I am sure you have had other past lives… you may not have discovered the one that caused your knee birthmark yet. Arsinoe is very interesting sounding! When you find a lifetime that your knee is involved in one of your past life traumas… it will make sense to you. The next time you do a past life regression, set your intent that you would like to remember the life that involved your birthmark on your knee.

My parents said I used to have a red heart-shaped birthmark on my left leg, but it disapeared a few months after I was born… so how do I recall what happened that caused the mark? Also, how to find a ‘genuine’ therapist for past life regression?(people are dishonest these days…) Where I stay, people don’t seem to believe in this…

    • Hello Artemis,
That is cool you had a heart-shaped birthmark. Like it was a kiss of an angel. Trust your intuition about the therapist. You can try to do self-hypnosis regressions and they are a great way to start. Plus when you find the therapist, then you will have a much easier time in the session remembering. Another way to find one is to ask around at metaphysical shops. They usually know someone they can recommend.
      Good luck!

I have a birthmark on my right butt. No idea why it’s right there or anything about my last life. How does one come to terms with it if ine has no idea how to remember?

    • Hello Mickala,
If it is not bothering you… It takes the openness and perseverance to learn about your past. If you go to the top of my blog, you will see a tab that says, “Remember a Past Life Now” There you can listen to a meditation that can help you remember your past life that may be connected to your birthmark. Set the intent that that is why you are doing it. Good luck. Let me know.
      Namaste,

I have a white blotch, a little smaller than my palm, that is between my shoulder blades – you can only see if I am tan or have a sun burn… hmmm….???????

    • Hello Michelle,
Have you tried remembering a past life? You could try it. Set the intent of what you want to remember.
I cannot guarantee that it will go away though…
I have read accounts of people being born with scars from a previous lifetime.
      Good luck!

  41. I have a birthmark on my left chest close to my neck right above my heart. For years I thought I was someone else’s child because my family treated me so diff. Then at about ten years old I noticed my GRANDFATHER, my dads dad had the EXACT same birthmark. For me it was confirmation who I belonged to. I am now 47 and its almost completely gone. My daddy passed away 3 years ago (God rest his precious soul) while he was I’ll I took care of him. That’s when Inoticedit was disappearing.its just about 99% gone now. WWhat’s your takeon this?

    • Hello Alma,
That is so cool that you found connection with your Grandfather! I think when we are young (and throughout our whole life really) we just want to know we are loved and wanted. It is coincidental that your mark started fading while your dad was readying to transition to Heaven. Those on the other side always watch over us and are with us when we think of them. (You can ask for a sign they are nearby – like a feather or a penny). It is entirely possible there was a trauma that was in a past life that involved you, your dad and grandfather. In some way, you helping your dad resolved whatever happened before. I would meditate on it or try a past life regression if you are interested in knowing more. Sending love to you.

Hi Karen, I want to ask your thoughts. I have no birth marks but my youngest was born not only with a spot that stays white (like a reverse birth mark) when he’s in the son, and it looks like a TRex or a profile of Barney the Dinosaur more like, like a jagged bite mark, but he also has two large mongolian spots; one on his back, the whole right lung area from his shoulder and back of his neck down past his diaphragm and stopping when it hits about the midline of his spine, and there is also one that is lighter on the crown of his head. Both are like giant ovals, they look like a filtered purple instead of traditional super dark mongolian spots. He’s a year old and I wonder… if brown birth marks are connected to past lives, are singular white melanin free areas and mongolian spots?

    • Hello Barbra,
The interesting thing is that is it any birthmark that can be associated with a past life trauma. I have read about children being born with scars and other deformities and they were associated with a past life trauma. (Look up Ian Stevenson for more info on that. He took the scientific approach to past lives in relationship to birthmarks.) Congratulations on your new baby! It is such a miracle when they are born. Keep in mind that all babies can easily see angels. They are such a blessing!

I have had a past life regression session 11yrs ago. It was ‘neat’ . I took a lot from it. Shortly afterwards I had a dream about a ‘mothership’ returning! I saw the vehicle at the bottom of a hilly road. A friend from High School, whom I have not seen in 26 yrs, suddenly appeared and said to me, ‘Its not time, Jason! It’s not ready!! Not now!’ .
I also had a football shaped birthmark on the left side of my navel. It always got darker in summertime. It is gone and I can really put the timing of its disappearance with my moving back to my hometown. I also remember being abducted by aliens when my family lived out in country. I saw myself being brought back into my room through my bedroom window. I had two beds in my room. One for me and one for junk! I was asleep on the junk bed. I never did that because I kept my guitar and art supplies on that one bed.
My past life regression explained to me about my interest in letterings on signs and my fear of horses.

This was a very interesting topic to read about. Including the comments. I have a question however. My whole life I had a brown almost spotty birthmark on my left hand. It almost looked like it could be land on a map. It has started disapearing over the past couple of years and is basically gone now. I don’t recall any past lives. I have been learning about energy and working hard at growing spiritually. But I can’t think of why my birthat would disapear.
Also what about birthmarks that are passed on from mother to child? My daughter and I both have a dark brown freckle or flat mole on the same part of our thighs but opposite thighs.

    • Hello Kaleigh,
If you are healing on a spiritual and on an energetic level, you could have healed the issue unknowingly. I am not sure about birthmarks with relatives yet. Could it be that you both died in the same way previously or together and she is part of your soul group? Maybe… lol.

I was born with many birthmarks and a cleft lip. The lip was the easiest to take care of, I had a good plastic surgeon 50 years ago at the age of 6 months, the rest? I had a dark pigmented birthmark on my chest that resembled a gunshot wound, I had a past life regression, and many dreams that verified this, But I had to meet my killer or killers in this life before it faded. The scar on my face from the surgery is fading as well, but that one is taking a lifetime.

  47. Allie says:

I was born with a scar under my left breast, which eventually faded away and is now barely visible. I never explored my past lives, but had recurring dreams about being shot in the back, right under my right shoulder blade, and dying in a puddle of blood. I was always shot in the back, at an angle, in the exact same place – where I have a sensitive spot; the area always felt uncomfortable and is still supersensitive to touch. Anyway, I started thinking, that I might have been shot dead in my past life, and this scar I was born with was an exit wound. True or not – it’s an interesting theory 😀

    • Hello Allie, through healing ourselves now with the memories of trauma from the past is so important as we continue our growth. Thank you for sharing your healing!

        Hi Karen!
My name is Elin and I’m a 23 year old woman from Sweden with 3 birthmarks. One red mark in the middle of my forehead that I’ve learned was made out of pressure when giving birth. it makes logical sense that all these birthmarks I have is just normal. But I like the idea that it could have something to do with the death of my past life. So what kind of death do you think is related to my birthmarks? The red one on my forehead, the bigger red one on the side of my back and a light brown small one on my right shoulder. Thank you for your time!
Kindly regards from a woman with curious thoughts of reincarnation

    Hi Karen,

Just found this blog doing some research on birthmarks. Some very interesting stories here and insights. I had a few questions since, my research was based on a birthmark that was the shape of a fish on my hip or waist area. My mother has the same one on the same side and location. I believe my mother still has her fish birthmark. However, my birthmark disappeared when I was young. I would say around the age of 7-9; perhaps even younger. I just cannot remember. But, the question is why the shape of a fish? Why did it disappear on me at such a young age? Thank you

I found your post after going through a lifetime of troubled relationships… I experienced what I believe to have been a life lesson, I too had a birthmark light brown in color on the front/side of my neck that would get lil darker in the sun.. I just realized it’s gone😳 I’m 47 it’s been there my whole life. I don’t know what to think.
